BE Standard Series Slew Drives by TGB Group
The BE series consists of a slewing drive built with a straight worm gear and a globoid slewing ring, all encased in a cast steel housing which guarantees a smooth and controlled rotation of the slewing drive.
The external sealing of this industrial slew drive consists of an external lip which provides high protection against dust, water and other external elements.
It includes up to 5 easy access direct lubrication points to ensure that the raceway is always in optimum condition for a smooth movement.
This rotation unit can be driven on both sides of the screw worm by either an hydraulic motor, an electric motor or manually.

BE Standard Series Models
The BE Standard Series models differ mainly in their axial load capacity and allowable tilting moment. Each model is designed for a different level of operational demand, allowing the selection of the most suitable slewing drive based on load weight, lever arm and application type.
- BE130-Z1
Compact model, suitable for light-duty applications where high rotational precision and reduced axial loads are required, with moderate tilting moments.
- BE236-Z1
Intermediate solution for light to medium-duty equipment, offering a balanced combination of axial load capacity and tilting moment while maintaining a compact design.
- BE314-Z1
Designed for medium-load applications where the system must withstand higher axial forces without compromising smooth rotational movement.
- BE435-Z1
Higher-capacity model within the first group, intended for more demanding applications with increased tilting moments and higher axial loads.
- BE500-Z0
Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, capable of withstanding high tilting moments with significant axial loads.
- BE523-Z1
Offers increased capacity compared to the BE500, suitable for machinery operating under high loads and more severe working conditions.
- BE600-Z1
Robust model for large-scale equipment, where a combination of high axial load and elevated tilting moment is required.
- BE700-Z1
The highest-capacity solution in the series, intended for extremely demanding applications such as heavy machinery, cranes, or offshore equipment.

Customization Options for BE Standard Slewing Drives
The BE Standard slewing drives can be adapted to different mechanical configurations and working conditions through customization options designed to facilitate integration into each project. These options allow the drive to be adjusted to the equipment requirements without modifying the system architecture.
Key customization possibilities include the selection of the shaft type, available in keyed or splined versions, as well as adaptation to metric or imperial systems, simplifying integration into machinery for different markets.
In addition, BE slewing drives can be supplied with specific finishes, such as different paint colors or special treatments, designed to improve corrosion protection or meet aesthetic or regulatory requirements of the final equipment.
These options make the BE series a flexible solution, capable of meeting the needs of multiple industrial applications without compromising system reliability.
How to Select the Right BE Slewing Drive
Selecting the right BE slewing drive is essential to ensure safe, efficient and long-lasting system operation. To do so, it is important to analyze a series of technical factors before defining the most suitable model.
One of the main aspects is the axial load and tilting moment that the slewing drive must withstand during operation. These values determine the size and capacity of the BE model required for the application.
It is also relevant to consider the type of application and operating environment, especially for outdoor equipment or demanding conditions, where IP protection and resistance to external agents play a decisive role.
Finally, the shaft configuration and compatibility with the drive system (hydraulic, electric or manual) must be evaluated to ensure correct integration and optimal overall performance.
If needed, TGB Group’s technical team can provide guidance in selecting the most suitable BE slewing drive based on the project’s actual operating conditions.
